Greenline

shaped by sun and wind. drawn from life.

The Earth is always changing, and whether we notice it or not, we’re all part of that journey. More than ever, it’s important to think about how we use our resources—and how we can do that more responsibly. What we take from nature, we should give back in some way. And when it comes to the forests—often called the “lungs of our planet”—we especially need fresh ideas and a more thoughtful approach.

That’s why we’ve started with a simple concept: the Sandberg Greenline Series.

Just like people, no two trees are the same. Each one has its own grain, its own color, its own story. It takes years—sometimes decades—for a tree to grow, and along the way it picks up all sorts of marks and patterns that make it unique. Instead of seeing those as imperfections, we see them as character.

For the Greenline Series, we use woods that might otherwise be overlooked—timbers with bold grain, unusual color, or little quirks that make them stand out. Every piece we choose still meets our standards for quality and stability, but also brings something special to the table: its natural look and personality.

The result? Instruments that play and perform just like you’d expect from Sandberg—solid, reliable, ready for anything—but with a unique visual vibe and a smaller footprint on the planet.

For this project, we at Sandberg are collaborating with UNITED KIDS FOUNDATIONS FOREST to plant a tree for every single Greenline Series instrument. Those trees will be planted locally in our beautiful Harz Mountains.
